Mapcargo holds first UCC Customer Conference

Mapcargo have held its first customer conference specifically to update and advise clients on the new UCC laws that came into effect from 1st May 2016.

Under the new code, changes are afoot that need to be reacted to. It was clear that HMRC are not proactive in advising clients, so in partnership wth Brittania Bureau Mapcargo are taking steps to assist clients in making sure they are compliant, and more importantly taking advantage of using the changes to be ahead of their competition.

Significant issues were highlighted, including potentially losing SIVA benefits if the correct AEO standard is not attained, which AEO to aim for relative to your business, and the cost benefit analysis.
