Aviation Support Limited has the facility to import clients components shipped to the UK for repair free of any Customs Duty and VAT.
Overseas clients can reduce their UK Import Handling Charges by assembling units destined for UK repair stations and shipping them direct to us on a single airway bill for distribution on their behalf.
By shipping to your own agent you can best retain control over your own components and also monitor the “Turn around Time” of the repair facility.
Our staff are experienced with the requirements of the industry - office personnel realise the significance of A.O.G. situations and action them immediately.
Import Customs Clearance - Our Import team are fully conversant with the various Customs procedures required to ensure the correct importation of aircraft parts.
Customer’s equipment is delivered and collected to and from repair facilities and vendors on our own vehicles.
Export services – Our Export team work with our Import department to ensure parts are exported under the correct customs procedure. We also liase with customer’s suppliers to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of components and supplies.
Specialist Handling - We operate our own forklift truck capable of handling the larger aero engines - CF6/JT9D and RB211; this enables us to store aero engines on our client’s behalf and arrange transport throughout Europe on specialised air-ride trucks.
AOG On Board Courier Service.
Storage of client’s components and “On-Line” stock check to enable them to “Call Up” parts for shipping to their “Operating Bases” Worldwide.
On-Line Tracking Service. Clients can Track shipments by Airwaybill, Part Number, Serial Number and Order Number.
